Multi Sports Sessions 2025 - Pencester Gardens

Dover District Community Safety Partnership (CSP) which includes Dover District Council, have been successful in being awarded funding from the Police Crime Commissioner to bring Uprising Youth & Community to deliver their Hang 10 Project to Pencester Gardens for a series of weekly, FREE 2 hour sports based sessions throughout 2025. 

Uprising Youth & Community is a growing charity based in Ashford that aims to support young people, families, and communities facing significant challenges, achieve improvements in life, resulting in personal and community transformation. The Charity runs numerous, coordinated projects around the region which work towards this transformation and Hang 10 is one of those projects.

Hang 10 is part of Uprising’s youth outreach work which seeks to positively engage young people wherever they congregate in local parks and housing estates. Hang 10 provides sporting activities, games and staff to talk to for support and advice. All of Uprising’s projects have developed out of this outreach work and it is still at the core of what they deliver. Staff are a combination of full-time, part-time staff and volunteers. Uprising Youth & Community is non-profit Charity.

The sessions are open to all 5-18 ages but with a specific focus on 11-16 year olds, living in the Dover District, and are free 

 All sessions run from 3.30 pm - 5.30 pm.

You do not need to book, just turn up and join in.Some may be subject to change so please check back again throughout the summer.
