The Dover District Council Community Grant Scheme is an annual fund that aims to support local voluntary sector organisations, in delivering projects that enhance community benefit across the Dover District. Keep an eye on our website for when the scheme opens to applications for 6 weeks. Is open for applications to register as a good cause. There is no application window for the Dover District Lotto, so you are free to make your application at any time. Please visit the website for more information on how it works.

Town Centre & Green Energy Business Grants

Our Town Centre Business Grant Scheme offers grants of up to £10,000 to small businesses (up to 50 employees) in the town centres of Dover, Deal and Sandwich.

As a local authority, Kent County Council offer lots of funding programmes you can apply for directly. 

External funding

Awards for all

A quick way to apply for smaller amounts of funding between £300 and £10,000. You can apply for funding to deliver a new or existing activity or to support your organisation to change and adapt to new and future challenges.

Community Fund

The National Lotteries Reaching Communitites programme offers a larger amount of funding (over £10,000) for organisations that work with their community, whether that is for people living in the same area, or people with similar interests or life experiences.

Heritage Fund

The largest dedicated grant funder of the UK’s heritage. Locally connected and with UK-wide expertise, the Heritage Fund work to enhance and champion the value of heritage for all. Since established in 1994, this fund has awarded £8.6billion of National Lottery and other funding to more than 50,000 projects across the UK.

Funding for All

Funding for All provides free, expert fundraising advice to small charities, voluntary organisations, community groups and social enterprises from across Kent and Medway.
