Rules / regulations / procedures in force during December 2022, concerning a completed and received by DDC online application form for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support.

Response

An application for Housing Benefit that was received in December 2022 was administered in line with the 2006 Housing Benefit Regulations. For working age people who were not in either temporary accommodation or in relevant supported accommodation, an application for Universal Credit would have been necessary.  The regulations are found here: https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2006/213/contents
