Response

Please note that the use of the measure as a proportion Council Tax can give a comparable value between Councils, however, it should be noted that each Council raises a different level of Council Tax (Dover District Council’s Council Tax is one of the lowest in the country). It should also be noted that Council Tax is not the only funding that the Council receives, so this is not an expression of how much of the total funding of the Council is utilised in this expenditure.
