Request

Could I please be provided with the study report recommendations and plans  regarding the commission by funding via DDC carried out in 2008 and 2014.

Response

Attached is a copy of the Kingsdown and Walmer Beach Draft Management Plan 2010-2014, which presumably would have been commissioned in around 2008 or 2009.  Please note, it is a draft only and was not adopted.  This draft strategy was written before either the current Head of Parks, Open Spaces and Countryside or the White Cliffs Countryside Partnership Manager were appointed, and we do not have any information about the commissioning of the document.  As far as we are aware, no further management plan was commissioned until the current adopted plan was prepared.  Funding arrangements for the current plan are discussed in a report to Cabinet dated 7 November 2024 which can be found online at https://moderngov.dover.gov.uk/ieListDocuments.aspx?CId=121&MId=4958 (item 47). 

All personal data has been redacted from the attached document as this information is exempt from disclosure under Section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act as the Council considers the names individuals to be personal data.  Personal data is defined by Article 4(1) of GDPR and also Section 3 of the Data Protection Act 2018 and the release of this data would contravene the data protection principles.
