  1. How many times, if any, has DDC removed this rubbish/muck over the last two years? 
  2. As the road is a mess at present what plans does the Council have to clear this rubbish/muck? 
  3. What remedial plans does the Council have to clear this rubbish/muck? 
  4. When did DDC first become aware of this ongoing problem with muck/rubbish left at this location?

Response

  1. It is not clear what is being referred to as rubbish/muck and therefore the Council is unable to answer this question.
  2. Any street cleansing issues occurring on the highway should be reported via the Council's website at https://collections.dover.gov.uk/street.
  3. Folkestone Road has weekly visits by street cleansing crews, and household rubbish is collected fortnightly (with recyclable material being collected on the intervening week). 
  4. The Waste Services Team who managing street cleansing are not aware of what this muck/rubbish is and therefore have no awareness of how long it has been there.
