COVID Secure Events

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a huge impact on events during 2020 and unfortunately that continues; with events and gatherings having to be organised quite differently from previous years, if not outright cancelled, in order to comply with legislation, meet public expectation and most importantly to keep people safe.

Please find below useful guidance for organising an event as well as guidance for specific upcoming celebrations. Event organisers are reminded that they must also ensure they keep up to date with national and regional changes that may affect how any event is run.

Anyone wanting to use DDC land for an event are required to put an application in and will be asked to provide a COVID secure risk assessment, submitting all documentation at least 28 days before the event. See: https://www.dover.gov.uk/Community/Home.aspx
