Volunteering
Volunteers play an important role in helping us care for our parks and open spaces. Whether you enjoy gardening, keeping outdoor spaces tidy, or meeting new people, volunteering is a rewarding way to support your local community.
At present, volunteering opportunities are available at Kearsney Parks, where volunteers help maintain and improve the beautiful surroundings of Kearsney Abbey, Russell Gardens and Bushy Ruff. We hope to extend volunteering opportunities to other parks and open spaces across the district in the future.
Why Volunteer?
People volunteer for many different reasons. You may want to:
- Make a positive difference to your local parks
- Meet new people and become part of a friendly team
- Learn new skills and gain practical experience
- Stay active and spend time outdoors
- Support spaces that are enjoyed by the whole community
