Core Strategy

The Core Strategy was adopted on the 24 February 2010.  It sets out the planning framework to guide the future development of Dover district up to 2026 in terms of:

• Housing
• Jobs
• The infrastructure that needs to accompany growth, including:
  • Schools
  • Shops
  • Roads

It also makes a number of strategic allocations at Dover Waterfront, Connaught Barracks, Mid Town and Whitfield, which are central to the implementation of the Strategy.
