Complaints about Taxi Drivers

You can complain about the conduct of a driver either to us or directly to the taxi firm that the driver drives for.

Where the complaint is of a criminal nature we will not begin any investigation until the police tell us that they have finished their enquiries.

To report your complaint you will need to register for the Resident and Customer Portal.  Once logged in please select 'requests' and then select the relevant request subject when prompted - you will be able to log your request here and view it online.

Where the matter may be taken before court or committee, a written statement may be taken in order to comply with the rules of evidence.

If the complaint is of a serious nature or public safety is a concern the driver may have their licence revoked immediately - however this has to be balanced against whether such action is necessary in order to comply with the provisions of the Human Rights Act 1998.
