There are a number of ways to get involved with the work of the SKC CCG including: Health Network; Patient Participation Groups; Health Reference Group; Public Events and Consultations. Please see the SKC CCG Getting Involved page for details.
South Kent Coast Health and Wellbeing Board
The South Kent Coast Health and Wellbeing Board brings together key organisations to oversee the plans for improving the health and wellbeing of the people living in Deal, Dover and Shepway. It works closely with the Kent Health and Wellbeing Board, ensuring a “local” voice and helping to identify district and neighbourhood health needs, priorities and gaps in services. The public are welcome to attend meetings of the Board.
Healthwatch Kent is an independent organisation that works to help local people get the best out of their local health and social care services. Whether it's improving them today or helping to shape them for tomorrow. Have your say by contacting Healthwatch Kent.
You can also volunteer to help the numerous local groups and organisations working to support health and social care services in the district, such as 'friends of' groups and those working to support specific illnesses.
