Request

We are working with a number of partners to build an understanding of how LPAs across the country are implementing BNG and other ecological considerations within the planning process. 

We appreciate that this FOI request comprises a number of questions and will take some time for you to answer, and also that LPAs across the country are managing large workloads, often with understaffed teams. 

In return, we commit to sharing back the report along with tangible and practical ‘best practices’ – tailored for your LPA. We are also looking to develop practice advice on BNG with the RTPI for local authority planners across England, and will explore further to make the analysis of this study helpful for the broader community. We hope these resources will be helpful for you and your team, and that they will save you significantly more time than it takes to answer these questions.
