Request

  1. What other reports were made to DDC about the progress of this project, other than that on 17th October 2005, relating to this project and kindly supply copies?
  2. What was the total cost of the whole project and how much of this was paid by DDC?
  3. Who was the DDC main contractor (stated to be the leader of research team) for this project?
  4. Who selected the research team for this study and carefully excluded the Kent Archaeological Rescue Unit which had carried out by far the greatest programme of excavations in the town. These covered some 15 years across more than 10 sites, several major, even though actually listed at the very end of the book. Indeed, one contributor had actually helped the Kent Unit on one of the projects.  And why the exclusion, which resulted in such a limited result?
  5. How much did English Heritage eventually pay DDC for its management of this project?
