Response
1. As follows:
- Deal – 44
- Walmer – 95
- Kingsdown – 27
2. Renewals are sent out to each licence holder from April and once the signed conditions of licence signed and third party liability insurances returned for the boat winch and shed (where applicable) the invoice is raised and sent to the plot holder. If the documentation is not provided by the date provided in the renewal paperwork the plot holder is asked to vacate the plot and informed that their licence will not be renewed.
3. Each plot is paid by invoice sent to the plot holder. The licences are April-April therefore the information provided will be for the financial years 2023/24 and 2024/25. The fees for 2023/24 were as follows:
- Kingsdown: £278.00
- Walmer & Deal Recreational: £450.00
- Walmer & Deal Commercial: £183.00
The fees for 2024/25 were as follows:
- Kingsdown: £300.00
- Walmer & Deal Recreational: £486.00
- Walmer & Deal Commercial: £198.00
4. The Council does not hold this information as we do not record how long plots have been vacant.
5. The Council does not record abandoned or unpaid plots but vacant plots at each site are:
- Walmer – 54
- Deal – 28
- Kingsdown – 17
6. If a plot holder does not supply the documentation requested to renew the licence this licence is not renewed and the plot holder asked to vacate the plot
7. The Council does not hold this information as this is something that is currently under review.
