1. In light of the popularity of film sets using public lands and beaches locally, does the district authority get paid for these film sets? 

2. How much and where does the revenue income get allocated please?   

Response

1. Yes, Dover District Council does get paid.  We get paid by Kent Film Office who manage filming requests/payments and operations in Kent. 

2. 2023/24             £6,444

2024/25             £4,860

The funds are allocated to individual departments, based on the use required for filming.  The majority is to Property Services who manage the Council’s land.
