Request

  1. Please advise if and when the skate park in Victoria Park Deal will be upgraded and expanded.
  2. When the facility will be cleaned and repaired where appropriate.
  3. How you will improve the daily litter in and around the park.

 

Response

  1. There are no plans to amend the skate park in Victoria Park Deal.  However, the Council is currently preparing an updated Playing Pitch and Outdoor Sports Facilities Strategy, which includes consideration of skate park provision across the district and will guide future investment.  If you are interested you can take part in a current resident survey (available at https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/10ed69368cf64f418f7503a9d571dd47) to put forward your views on skate provision, which will be taken into account when finalising the strategy.
  2. There are no plans to amend the existing cleansing regime.  Specific incidences of littering can be reported via the Council’s website Street Results | Resident Service Portal.  Once the street has been selected, click on “Report Litter”, then add details of the location and issue. A purchase order was raised on 27 October for repairs to the surrounding seating. It is anticipated this will be completed in the next 4 weeks.
