Response

  1. The White Cliffs Countryside Partnership’s (WCCP) involvement in Kingsdown and Walmer is focused on the Dover District Council owned parts of the Kingsdown to Walmer Beach Local Wildlife Site.
  2. WCCP is funded through core contributions and/or funding for specific services by its partners, as well as earned income and donations. Funding partners currently include Affinity Water, Aylesham Parish Council, Dover District Council, Dover Town Council, EDF Energy, Eurotunnel, Folkestone and Hythe District Council, Kent County Council, The Land Trust, Natural England, Network Rail, St Margaret’s Parish Council and Taylor Wimpey.
  3. The boundaries of the areas managed by WCCP relate to the nature reserves themselves and landownership. See https://www.whitecliffscountryside.org.uk/visit-us/our-nature-reserves for more information. For the purposes of project delivery etc they can operate across the entirety of Dover and Folkestone and Hythe districts.
