Request
A long length of beach vegetation about 2/3 metres in width has been ripped up by what appears to be machinery.
Much of this was wilfldllife rich brambles for birds especially.
This land should be managed as part if the work by White Cliffs Countryside Partnership.
- Who was responsible for this?
- Was it authorised by DDC?
- Why was this undertaken?
- If unauthorised will you investigate and potentially prosecute if permission was not given?
- What actions will council take to make the land back to its rich natural environment for wildlife?
- Are White Cliffs Countryside Partnership aware of this unmanaged destruction and if so can they be involved in the issue?
- The removal has exposed public land and beach without any barriers. Will the missing barriers no barriers be replaced and when to stop vehicles parking on public land?
