I am writing to request information on any previous planning pre-application enquiries submitted in relation to:
Grooms Cottage & The Old Stables, Chalksole Manor, Chalksole Green Lane, Alkham, Kent, CT15 7EE
Specifically, I would be grateful if you could confirm:
• Whether any pre-application advice requests have been made for this site, and if so, the dates they were submitted.
• A summary of the advice provided by the Council, or alternatively, whether this advice can be made available for inspection.
• Any associated planning history that may be relevant to the building or land.
Response
Under Section 1(1)(a) of the Freedom of Information Act, we have established that this information is not held. This is because Dover District Council no holds no current pre-application advice for this property. Any pre-application advice submitted more than seven years ago would no longer be held as this is outside the Council’s retention period for this data. The Council did receive a planning application for this address (19/00322) dated 11/03/2019 for change of use and conversion of two holiday lets to a single residential dwelling incorporating existing car park. This was refused and then again dismissed at appeal.
