Information held in respect of breaches of dog control matters (failure to remove dog faces forthwith; failure to place a dog on the lead when directed to do so by an authorised officer of the council; being in charge of a dog off the lead in a designated dogs on lead area and being in charge of a dog in a designated dog exclusion area) are not recorded with a specific category code for Community Protection Notice warnings in our software system. To establish how many community protection notice warnings may have been given would entail a manual review of every case that may meet the criteria for a community protection notice. As this information is not readily available and from our preliminary assessment, we have estimated that the cost of complying with this part of your request would exceed the ‘appropriate limit’. The appropriate limit has been specified in regulations and for Local Government it is set at £450. This represents the estimated cost of one person spending 2½ working days in determining whether the information is held, locating, retrieving and extracting the data. I regret therefore, that on this occasion I must refuse this part of your request in accordance with Section 12(1) of the Freedom of Information Act.
I can confirm that at least one Community Protection Notice warning would have been issued, as a Community Protection Notice was served in relation to waste‑related matters and legislation requires a warning is served before a Community Protection Notice can be.
2. (a) 7 for ASB, 1 for waste and 1 for waste accumulation in Council property.
(b)1 for ASB, 4 for loud music (in a Council property) and 3 for waste accumulation in Council property
3. 3 FPNs issued by Kent Police for their breach of their CPNs. All FPNs were issued due to failure to comply with a Community Protection Notice.
