This information will enable us to understand your current service schedule and prepare effectively for any future tender or renewal opportunities.

Response

NRT Electrical (2022–2027)

NRT Electrical delivers the Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) testing programme across DDC’s domestic and communal assets. The contract includes:

• Completion of periodic EICR testing in accordance with BS 7671 requirements
• Delivery of all associated remedial works
• Rectification of any C1 (Danger Present) and C2 (Potentially Dangerous) observations at the point of service
• Ensuring all properties tested are returned to a compliant status before certification is issued 

PJC Electrical – PAT & Emergency Lighting (2024–2027)

PJC provides Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and Emergency Lighting (EL) servicing across DDC’s sheltered schemes and general needs communal blocks. The contract covers:

• Annual PAT testing for all communal equipment within sheltered schemes
• Biannual (twice-yearly) servicing of emergency lighting in all blocks
• Monthly emergency lighting checks, recorded and reported through the agreed compliance process
• Ensuring all defects identified during routine checks are raised, tracked, and resolved promptly 

All contracts are managed by Property Services. There is no contract for Lightning Protection.
