I'm still waiting a reply from you or the council about who orders the weed killer for use by the council. If you can confirm what substance is ordered for maiintaining the council parks and play areas. Someone has to order the supplies which the park rangers use for maintain parks/gardens and play areas.
There is no reason for this information to be withheld and I expect the workers using the substances need to be informed for Heath & Safety reasons.

Various members of the Parks and Open Spaces Team place orders for supplies, including herbicide. What brand is ordered varies due to costs, but they are glyphosate based. Examples of brands we have previously ordered are Round Up, Rosate and Gallup. The Council has also ordered longer lasting herbicides in small quantities that contain Flazasulfuron. This would include the brands Chikara and Paradise. All staff using herbicides are trained to do so.
