1. The Council has three Environmental Improvement Officers whose duties include addressing dog fouling in Deal and Walmer. They carry out both reactive patrols, responding to service requests, and proactive patrols in locations where reports or intelligence indicate a problem. Patrols are not conducted to a fixed schedule. Officers are deployed based on demand, available intelligence, and other service priorities within their wider role.
