1. The current expenditure for 2025/26 is £1,918 as at the date of your request.
2. There are a pool of casual chauffeurs with no fixed hours.
3. As follows:
- To act as Attendant to the Chairman and Vice Chairman. To act as chauffeur to Chairman, Vice Chairman, Leader and other Members at external civic functions and engagements.
- To observe and adhere to dress standards and requirements which have been specified by management as necessary for the post.
- Any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time.
- Comply with and implement the Council’s Equality and Health & Safety policies and associated responsibilities.
- To comply with requirements for confidentiality and political impartiality.
4. Not applicable. As they are a casual chauffeur the council only uses them for driving/attending the Chairman of the Council or Vice-Chairman of the Council.
5. The chauffeur is required to assist the Chairman of the Council (or the Vice-Chairman in their absence) in attending civic events.
