Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would like to request the following information relating to water quality monitoring and governance concerning Deal Castle Beach and the surrounding bathing waters within the Dover District. Bathing Water Classification

  1. Please provide documentation supporting the statement that bathing water classification returned to “Good” on 25 November 2025.
  2. Please provide the water quality monitoring data used to determine bathing water classifications for Deal Castle Beach for the years 2023, 2024, and 2025.

  1. The Environment Agency determine the annual bathing water classifications for all designed bathing waters.
