  4. Why is there no management of the beach vegetation from Deal Pier to Borrow Pit Car Park?  
  5. Are White Cliffs Countryside Partnership only responsible for beach management from Borrow Pit Car Park to Kingsdown?  
  6. When will the proposed beach access for all abilities be delivered?

  3. Boundaries of the local wildlife site (LWS) maintained by the White Cliffs Countryside Partnership can be seen within the management plan attached to a DDC Cabinet Report dated 7 October 2024. The northern edge of the LWS is located just south of the RNLI Walmer Lifeboat Station.  You have previously been supplied with a copy of this plan.
  4. To date vegetation management activities have focussed on higher priority areas of the LWS, seeking to achieve outcomes identified within the adopted management plan. However, if you wish to influence prioritisation of effort, you could join the monthly volunteer tasks, which are advertised on the WCCP web pages.
  5. Boundaries of the local wildlife site maintained by the White Cliffs Countryside Partnership can be seen within the management plan attached to a DDC Cabinet Report dated 7th October 2024. The southern edge of the LWS is located south of the Zetland Arms.
