Following the closure of the rear Colliers Gate access to Betteshanger Country Park in January, Cllrs Kevin Mills and Jamie Poult met with park owners, Quinn Estates to discuss the issue and future of the park. Please can you provide details of discussions between the owners of Betteshanger Country Park and the above mentioned councillors as they are paid by the electorate and Betteshanger Country Park is an asset of community value which was created with 30 million of tax payers money and SEEDA funding. This should include notes, minutes , emails and phone conversations regarding these meetings and their content.

The only information the Council holds in respect of the meeting with Quinn Estates is the handwritten notes taken at the meeting by Councillors Kevin Mills and Jamie Pout. Copies of the notes are attached. Please note that all personal data has been redacted from the notes as this information is considered exempt from disclosure under Section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act. Personal data is defined by Article 4(1) of GDPR and also Section 3 of the Data Protection Act 2018 and the release of this data would contravene the data protection principles. Information has also been redacted that does not relate to your request as it it in respect of a different matter/meeting.
