Garden Competition

Dust of your dibblers and plant some pansies, the Garden Competition is BACK!

Dover District Council run an annual Garden Competition in partnership with the Dover District Tenants' Consultative Group to celebrate the hard work of our most talented gardeners. 

The competition is currently closed and will reopen in the Spring 2024.

Rules of the competition:

• Entries must be from Tenants and leaseholders of Dover District Council
• Previous winners may enter
• Residents are permitted to enter more than one category
• By entering you agree that Dover District Council may share your address and contact information with the judges for the purpose of judging the garden competition

2023 Competition:

Thank you to everyone who entered the Garden Competition, we were thrilled with the amount and standard of the entries, especially given that we have been unable to run the competition since 2019.

The categories for 2023 were agreed by the Dover District Tenants' Consultative Group, they are:

• Front Garden - Open to all gardens, large and small
• Back Garden- Any size, anywhere!
• Most Improved - Have you mutual exchanged? Recently signed up? or have you been on a mission to tackle the weeds?

Closing Date was Friday 30th June, the Judging took place in July and Prize Giving Ceremony was held at the DDC Offices in August. Here are the winners at the Prize Giving event:
