Flying the flag for Armed Forces Day 2026

To mark the start of Armed Forces Week this year, a ceremony is being held to raise the Armed Forces Day flag on Monday, 22 June at 10.15am at Deal Town Hall. 

The local event is being hosted by Dover District Council and Deal Town Council.  Events are being held around the country to mark the lead up to national Armed Forces Day on Saturday 27 June.  Armed Forces Day is an annual opportunity for the nation to show support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces Community.
