Request
Further to my request of 16 June 2026 under reference FI17119 please supply the following updated additional information:
- Please supply copies of all quotes received which detail the works to be done.
- Please supply copies of all communications between the chosen contractor and the Council.
- What is the budget to do the necessary works?
- Is it still the Council’s intention to spend under £15,000 so the work is not tendered for?
- The rainwater gutter down pipe on the Elms Vale Road side is missing and has been for many years causing the severe corrosion seen. Will a new down pipe be installed as part of the necessary planned repairs? If not, why not?
- If there are no reports on the state of the shelter, please explain why as regular and poor practice
Response
- These are set out in the attachments below.
- All communication was via telephone or in person at a site meeting.
- There is no specific budget for this work.
- Yes, as the quotes are both under £15,000.
- The shelter only has one downpipe to the rear of tram shelter which is still in situ.
