How to Contact Us

Your Housing Management team for Tenants:

We are currently running an appointment only face-to-face service from our Whitfield offices at White Cliffs Business Park, Whitfield, Dover, CT16 3PJ from 10am to 4pm (closed for lunch 12.30pm to 1.30pm). 

We are happy to meet you face to face, however please ensure that you book appointments in advance at your home or at the Council offices. If you turn up unexpectedly at the Council Offices, staff will be unable to see you as they are often busy, out and about on visits or are working from home.

The Gateway offices in Dover town centre are currently closed. For the latest details, please click here

  • Online: You can get in touch with us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at housing@dover.gov.uk. Send us an email and one of the team will get back to you as soon as possible.
  • Coming soon! We will be launching a handy online form so your enquiry can go straight to the relevant team even quicker. If you have any ideas on how you would like to be able to contact us, please fill in a feedback form below.
  • By telephone: Call us on 01304 801084 about Housing Management enquires only. For repairs and the property team, use the housing maintenance team's number below. Lines are open 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (except Bank Holidays). This line can also be used for out of hours emergencies.

Leasehold Enquiries Only:

Are you a leaseholder? Speak directly to our Home Ownership Officer on 01304 872247 or email homeownership@dover.gov.uk.

Please note, our Home Ownership Officer cannot deal with any tenant enquiries, Leasehold ONLY.

Please note: When reporting a repair, please let the call handler know if you have any circumstances which might make you vulnerable meaning you need to have a priority repair.

Having trouble with our phone system?

Our housing team is a large team with lots of different areas, this means that to speak to the correct person you may feel like you're pressing lots of buttons. If you select the wrong option, the person that answers may not be able to assist you with your query. We want you to have your query dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible.

It's really important that you listen to all the options and select the option that most relates you your enquiry.
