Advanced warning – planning website upgrade
The planning website will not be available on 23rd, 24th and 25th of June
How will the updates affect you?
The pages will be unavailable to public users on these days.
During this time, no planning documents will be available. However, you can still comment on applications by emailing DevelopmentManagement@DOVER.GOV.UK. We can also provide copies of applications via this email address.
We hope this doesn't cause any inconvenience.
Why are these outages necessary?
We need to update the planning systems to ensure they are up-to-date, supported and secure.
Householder applications submitted from 1st February 2025
The Planning team will be striving to determine all householder applications within the 8 week statutory timeframe. This means that we will no longer look to enter into Extensions of Time agreements for householder applications received after 1st February 2025. As a department, we will continue work with applicants and agents proactively, and when required, we will seek minor amendments within an agreed timeframe that enables us to meet the 8 week deadline (where re-consultation is not required).
