Our district welcomes many visitors travelling with caravans and motorhomes—whether you're here to explore the area or passing through on your way to the continent.
Where can I park if I have a motorhome or caravan?
- motorhome parking is available in most of our car parks if the vehicle fits within a single bay
- if your motorhome/caravan exceeds a single bay, you can park at Maison Dieu Road car park in Dover using two bays. Get directions to Maison Dieu Road car park.
- if you are using two bays, vehicles must display two valid pay-and-display tickets
- overnight sleeping in any vehicle is not permitted in our car parks.
- motorhomes must not park in bays reserved for other users (coach bays, taxi ranks, bus stops etc)
Overnight parking
Motorhomes/caravans are no longer permitted to park on Marine Parade and Waterloo Crescent in Dover between 8am and 6pm. However, overnight parking is allowed for a £13 fee, payable at Marine Parade and Waterloo Crescent pay and display machines.
Alternative parking
There are facilities available at Folkestone Services off junction 11 of the M20 with toilets and showers, a food court and fuel station.
