How the Process Works

After you have submitted your event notification form and supporting documents:

  • Your submitted application will be shared with members of the Event Safety Advisory Group (ESAG) who will review your event and provide their comments.
  • We will contact you with advice on health, safety and welfare at your event so that you can make adjustments where necessary to your paperwork.
  • As an event organiser you may be required to attend a meeting with the ESAG.

If your Event is on DDC Land 

  • We will check that the venue you wish to hire is available
  • We will check that you have agreed to our conditions of hire 
  • We will email you an invoice which you can pay online
  • You will be issued with a 'Permission to Occupy' letter by email
