TPAS is a membership organisation that promotes, supports and champions tenant involvement and empowerment in social housing across England. It connects tenants, landlords and contractors through a wide range of services, offering independent and impartial advice, support, consultancy and training.

Benefits for tenants

We have a landlord membership with TPAS, giving you free access to a range of exclusive members only services. These services are designed to help you get more involved in shaping the housing service we provide.

These include:

• fortnightly electronic newsletters to keep you up to date on the tenant engagement agenda and housing news
• an online resource hub for good practice
• free webinars and online events
• policy briefings, toolkits and example documents from landlords and tenants across the country
• an online networking platform ‘TPAS Connect’ to network with other TPAS tenant members
• opportunities to help influence national policy.

How to join

• go to the TPAS website (opens in new tab)
• click on 'become a member'
• select 'more information about tenant membership'
• select 'check if your landlord is a member'
• search for Dover District Council (on the map or in the search bar)
• select 'join as tenant'
• complete the 'your details' section
• press 'join group'
