Dover District Tenants' Consultative Group

The Dover District Tenants' Consultative Group (DDTCG) is a group of council tenants and leaseholders.

They are a non-political group who represent the views and interests of tenants and leaseholders across the district. They are independent, however they work closely with us as a consultative body to resolve issues and recommend improvements to the service.

The group meets every six weeks to discuss housing related issues with us, and they have worked on many projects over the years to help improve the housing service for residents.

They also play a big role in annual competitions for tenants and leaseholders, including our garden competition.

Training

Members can receive regular training and support. We are landlord members of tenant engagement experts TPAS, which gives tenants access to resources and training.

Expenses

Any tenants or leaseholders who get involved in engagement activities are entitled to expenses.

We are committed to ensuring that no one is left out of pocket by being involved, so we pay expenses in line with our expenses policy.

Meetings and agendas

Meetings are held on Tuesdays between 11am and 1pm and they are free to attend.
