QR code scam: We do not use QR codes for parking payments. Scammers have been placing fake QR stickers on our pay and display machines, which we remove when found. Pay only via the RingGo app, website or the phone number below.
You can pay for parking using RingGo in our car parks throughout the district.
RingGo is our cashless parking provider and allows you to pay for your parking without having to visit a pay and display machine - you just need a mobile phone and a credit or debit card.
You can either register for an account online or download the app on a smartphone.
Alternatively, you can call 01304 892 895 (you'll be charged at your normal rate).
If you are a new caller it will ask you for:
your number plate, colour and make of your vehicle
the location of where you are parked - each car park has its own individual location number on the tariff notice boards in the car park
how long you want to park for
your card details
Additional services such as a text reminder when your time is about to run out are available at an additional cost.
The next time you call, RingGo will remember your details from last time and will ask you:
to confirm the vehicle that you want to park
to confirm the location
how long you want to park for
your card security code

Yes, simply call RingGo again or visit the app and you will be able to extend your parking time.
Please note, you cannot extend your parking time once you’ve reached the maximum permitted stay period for that location.
No ticket is needed. Our civil enforcement officers will look up your number plate on their handheld device. This will check the back office system to make sure you have paid to park through RingGo.
If you have multiple cars on your RingGo account and buy a session for the wrong vehicle by mistake, you can correct it within 15 minutes by calling RingGo or using the app or website:
via the app - click on the session in question and provided the session activation is within the 15 minute window, you will see the option to amend the vehicle number plate recorded
online - use the RingGo Help tab at the top of the screen and under the heading of popular questions select 'change vehicle(s) on session/permit'
by text message - reply to any RingGo text message you have received or send a new text to 81025 with the syntax RingGo correct and the vehicle registration you wish to amend. If RingGo receives the correct syntax within 15 minutes, they’ll update the number plate for the active session. If changes aren’t made within that time, customers should pay again for the correct vehicle.
