New website launch

We are redesigning our website to make it easier for you to access our services online. This is happening in phases so you'll start to notice some parts of the website looking different.

Visitor permits

Residents can buy daily visitor permit books allowing their guests to park in designated spaces while visiting. This system helps manage parking and ensures visitors to restricted areas have a place to park.

A book of visitor parking permits (10 permits per book) is £40 and can be bought through the My Permits account. The permits will be posted to you once payment is made.

If you need a book of visitor permits at short notice, you can buy one at our Whitfield offices. A £5 admin fee applies and you’ll need to bring a council tax or utility bill showing your name and address.

Apply for a daily visitor entitlement permit

Before ordering your visitor permits, you must have a free daily visitor entitlement permit added to your My Permits account.

Register or log into My Permits

Once registered, please do the following:

  • log into your account
  • click on 'apply for permit'
  • in the permit category drop down box, click on 'resident parking permits' and 'next'
  • in the permit type drop down box, click on 'daily visitor entitlement'. It's not necessary for you to have a residents parking permit so when applying you will be required to upload one resident proof document, such as a council tax or utility bill.

Once the application is authorised, you will be able to apply and pay for visitor permit books.
