The Whitfield Urban Expansion (WUE) is the largest development allocation in the Dover District Local Plan to 2040 and is identified under Policy SAP1.
Due to its size, the development will be built in phases over a number of years. Plans will come forward through a combination of master planning and planning applications.
The development represents a significant opportunity to deliver:
- new homes
- employment space
- community facilities
- open spaces
- transport improvements
- other supporting infrastructure.
