Services from Kent County Council

Bus Shelters

Dover District Council is responsible for the day to day management of 56 bus shelters throughout the district.

A further 48 shelters are provided under contract with JC Decaux.

Various Parish Councils have provided and are responsible for another 38 bus shelters.

busBus Partnership

Kent County Council, Dover District Council and Stagecoach in East Kent are working together to achieve quality local bus services in the Dover District.

The main objective of the partnership is to create a public transport network acknowledged by local residents, visitors and the business community as an increasingly attractive alternative to private car use.
