Crossing the Channel

Ferries

Dover is the worlds busiest roll on roll off ferry port. Ferries depart Dover for France every 20 minutes. The Port of Dover also serves as a major International Cruise ship terminal, with up to 120 cruise ships visiting the Port each year.

Channel Tunnel

Dover is only 15 minutes away from the Channel Tunnel (vehicles only to Calais), 25 minutes from the International Passenger Station at Ashford and approximately one hour away from Ebbsfleet which is now the main International Station.

• Eurotunnel -  Cars and freight from Folkestone to Calais in 35 minutes
• Eurostar - High speed passenger train from Ashford, Ebbsfleet or London to France
